Check out this watch chain I made!

Hi peeps!  I want to share something I made with you.  A friend gave me a little sphere clock for Christmas a couple years ago, and I finally got around to making a fob for it so I could wear it.  I got some brass jump rings from the craft store, some stones from a gem show, and learned how to do the byzantine chain mail weave.  It took a few hours, but the result proved very worth it.  The stones are amethyst and some kind of… sandstone?  I’m planning on selling these, so let me know if you’re interested!  I have some other colors of stone, like green and snowflake obsidian, so I’ll put together some options sometime here soon.  For now, have a look at the one I made:

It has a clip ring thing on one end so you can hook it onto almost anything you want.

It’s 12 inches long including the little tassel at the end.

Close up of the chain.

The chain is nice and flexible.

I like to hang it from my belt loop and hide the clock part in my pocket while I’m moving around.

Ta-da!  I love it.
