A few weeks ago, I was sitting with a group of friends I have a writing group with.  I don’t remember how it came up, but one of my friends turned to me and said, “Andrea, you’re my writing senpai.”  That was pretty much the nicest, most touching thing anyone’s ever said to me.  At least, that’s how it felt in the moment.  It filled me with all sorts of warm fuzzies.

My friends keep coming to me for advice on their novels, so I figured if my advice can help them, it can help other people too.  So, I decided to start a blog.  Ta-da!  Here it is.

I will write posts about writing on this blog.  If you’d like something covered in particular, you can ask on The Ask Post in the comments.  Or anywhere, I guess, but I like keeping things organized.  Also, you can see if anyone else has asked the same question before you.  No need to ask it twice, right?  Don’t worry, I’ll get to it.

I will not write your stuff for you.  You will learn nothing if you do that.  I can give you examples, but in the end you must do it yourself.
